Christ Your life

His Kingdom multiplied through you

‘When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory’ Col 3.4 NIV. This life is now and this glory is the revelation of who you are as a son/daughter in God.

Workers bleat and sons declare. We can bleat religious adages and share Christian homilies until the cows come home - yet share very little that is the life of God, His wisdom and revelation or spirit and life. And we will not be aware of it - not be aware that we are surrounded by a cloud of darkness. All because we are stuck in a small identity in a covenant that God abandoned when His Son cried, “It is finished.”

We can do this because we know no better. Then again we can do it because we do not want to know any better and have chosen to live in an identity thimble. Because we have made a habit out of going into denial every time Jesus confronts us with the light and truth that is Himself and His gospel of the Kingdom. Why? Is it because we have made a little burrow for ourselves in a religious identity that is our Christ? Jesus spoke of false christs in this age. Perhaps they are more subtle than we had imagined or is it that we are just more conceited than we allow?

‘The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit’ 1 Cor 2.14 NIV. Could it be that we think we are in the Spirit because we have dabbled in Holy Spirit. But alas. We are not really in this Spirit because we have never left the letter behind? The Spirit is identified in us through sharpness of discernment and the ability to sift religion from the Kingdom of God.

‘Christ our life,’ to use the words of Paul is not some Christian stimulus or good works motivation. ‘Christ our life’ is not a way to be a Christian and do Christianity. Because what Jesus has given us is not religion. It’s union with His life, the life of the trinity and the healing of our selves. But it is more than this. It is as sons sharing the nature of God. Kriston Couchey in a Facebook post, gives us some insight as to what this nature is.

My goal used to be ministering truth to people and enlightening them to the reality of what is available to them in Christ. I am not abandoning this as a purpose, but my goal now is to apprehend all that being in Christ and being a co-heir with Him entails
That means seeking first his kingdom, which is found
IN CHRIST. Some of the things He is speaking to me about are the divine nature of God that is mine by right of sonship. Mastering the unseen realm of time, space and distance. Beings as He is in this cosmos. Timeless, ageless, unconfined by distance and location. All of these realities are ours to engage with in intimate fellowship with Him. Being wrapped in the Son and one with Father.”
