Grace is both Jesus and our relationship with God. Grace is the trinity and their relationship to themselves and to each other. This is grace: ‘I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you’ John 14,20. Grace is a manifestation of life and love. Grace is extravagant and free. Grace enfolds and transforms all it touches.
Grace allows us to be kind to ourselves, to scramble out of the burrow we have made from our pre-conceptions and parsimonious notions to enter a life without limit. That’s grace received!
To live in the reality of Christ; to be one with His life and have as our raison d'etre, Jesus as our life, is to have our being merged with God. This is living in grace. Grace is never God at a distance, God somewhere else. God if you earn God. Grace is you in God and God in you.
GRACE IS A LIFE
Grace planed the cross before our time began. Grace planned the fulfilment of the dreams of the trinity to have us as their companions before the creation. Grace planned that Adam’s fall would be undone and our human destiny as daughters and sons would be accomplished in Jesus. Grace envisaged that the three-personed God would be incarnated in human beings. Grace means that we are able to live from son consciousness instead of sin consciousness.
Grace means that the manifestation of God where you are is you!
MORE THAN ANYONE COULD HAVE THOUGHT
There’ no need to accept lesser gospels when the fullness of His infinite provision is on offer and available to all who ask. Jesus wrought more than the absence of sin. For us He accomplished infinite life. So why live with a lame soul, a crooked spirit and an emotionally diseased mind when the cure for every un-wholeness is Christ your life? Dr Stephen Crosby writes,
“Grace is not just a forensic acquittal of sin: being declared innocent through a judicial decree of God. Grace is what Christ was full of and He did not need a decree of innocence. Grace is the overflow of the interpenetrating life, love, and power that is shared in perfection between the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, into human vessels, permeating every molecule of their being. That kind of grace is not a cheap "get out of obedience" card to be played at the whim of our carnalities. New covenant grace is like the nuclear bond of an atom: it holds the universe together and it is by its very nature, energy and power.” Crosby, Stephen.
