Christ Your life

His Kingdom multiplied through you

Paul, who as Saul had literally bound people ‘in the letter’ and was responsible for the death of some, became the apostle of the free spirit, the gospel of liberation and the new creation Kingdom of God. Yet he did not live in the negativity of His past opposition to God. Nor did he define himself in terms of religion – but in who he was in Christ. As such he was the Paul who had been seen before the foundation of the world and the Paul he was becoming as a manifestation of Jesus. He writes,

‘But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them--yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me’ 1 Cor 15.10, NIV.

My daughter and I clean a church once a week. We enjoy the drive there and back, have father and daughter time and discuss issues that are important in our lives. Like uncovering the glory of Jesus Christ and seeing people who had accommodated themselves to spiritual wheel chairs leap up to become warriors of God. We live to know Jesus. We live so that people will live from their life in Christ to become their true selves – the kings and priests of the royal household of our Father who like Jesus and Paul bring heaven to earth by exuding the spirit and life of the trinity within.

My daughter rejoices in being who she is. So do I. There are things in life I have done that I regret. Periods of life that were intensely painful. I don’t live in regret of the past. I live in Jesus, which means I am content with being myself; pleased that in being captive to Jesus I am liberated to be me and satisfied that He has enlisted me to join Him in His restoration of the sons and daughters of God. With Paul I say, ‘I wish more people had what I have.’ I wish this particularly when I see people trying their hardest but who are stymied because they are contained in old covenant mindsets.

‘Paul replied, "Short time or long--I pray to God that not only you but all who are listening to me today may become what I am, except for these chains’ Acts 26.20 NIV.

Because Jesus lived in His Father He was who He was and overcame death in all its forms. HE IS LIFE!

This resurrection life lived in Paul and lives in you. Hidden in Christ we are able to be revealed in the true manifestation of ourselves. Christ has come in our flesh by the Spirit to be revealed as Bob and Mary and Jane!

If we are still in the law we are in chains. If we are connected to the law our spirit is manacled and our spiritual senses are numbed. Paul was in chains literally, yet free in the Spirit. Free to be Himself and fulfil his destiny because in Christ he had been liberated to be his true self as a son of God.

‘I say this because many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist’ 2 John 1.7 NIV. Because the trinity lives in you by the Spirit you become the manifestation of God wherever you are – if you believe.

It’s true that we can serve God while operating in a limited mindset. Our life in the old covenant and without the Spirit is not wasted. Just severely limited. It just us operating on two cylinders when we have eight. Or living as chicken when we are really and eagle. Our ‘being’ is less than we actually are. What we are do are drops and not rivers. One is seriously limited in progressing the Kingdom as a child of the first Adam instead of being a child of the Last Adam. This is why we preach the this gospel of the Kingdom and not lesser gospels that deny that Christ has come in our flesh.

There is nothing complicated about living as your true self. It’s as simple as this. Jesus is truth. When He is your life you will be true to yourself; true to your identity and destiny. A life lived in anything less than Jesus is a lie. To make a play on words such a life is a lie, not a life. The problem comes when we attempt to live in Christianity on the false assumption that this is living in God. No. When Jesus is our life we are living in God; set free from the shriveled forms of the knowledge of good and evil; released from the conformity of churchism; cut free from the father of lies and established in the Father of Life.

The essence, crux and hub of this found in one word: Jesus. Since the resurrection Christ is your life.

Rather than accepting Christ into our life , which is essentially a ‘work’ of ours, we should live from the fact that we have already been received into His. How does Jesus get to be your life?

By reading the Bible and attempting to live from Bible principles? No.
By grasping Bible principles, analyzing what they mean and then attempting to practice them? No.
By trying to love Jesus because of what He did on the cross that we overcome? No.
By paying Jesus back for His sacrifice by doing good things? No.
By working hard in Christian activities to secure the acceptance of the Father and Jesus. No.
By having a social conscience? No.
By focusing on the outcasts instead of the middle class? No.
By making every effort to address pressing issues? No.
By sacrificing ourselves for our church. No.
By being a missionary? No.
By living in the anointing and prophesying. No.

By ordering your heart TO EAT JESUS. YES. Those who eat Jesus will live because of Him – live not in the flesh but in the Spirit. This is the new and living way and in fact the only Kingdom Way. With Jesus as our life we are grafted in to the tree of life in the Spirit. In the Vine we are branches of the Father. Our branches are spirit and life. We are alive and the life of heaven courses through us. Our doings are the fruit of the Spirit. WE ARE THE SPIRITS FRUIT. In Jesus the sentence of a dead spirit is overcome in Jesus. With Jesus as our life the antidote to the tree of death flourishes in our being and we are alive in the Spirit of Life. We are sons and a manifestation of Jesus where we are.
