Christ Your life

His Kingdom multiplied through you

LIFE IN THE SPIRIT IS ALLOWING THE INCARNATION TO BE YOUR LIFE. Life in the Spirit is the life all of us are meant to enjoy. Our life in the Spirit is Christ come in our flesh. Christ come in our flesh is the difference between living in Christ and in the witchcraft of anti-christ. Don’t persuade yourself you are in the spirit if you are still joined to the law.

The living Christ took a rabid legalist and transformed him into an evangelist of life in the Spirit. Paul became the
apostle of the free spirit. Where once Saul had been bound in law and religion now Paul was captured in Christ, bound in his person and enthralled in His love. Compared to this - mere religion was excrement, whereas Jesus was life itself.

‘What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ’ Phil 3.8 NIV.

For many Christianity is about believing and doing. But should we live in the Spirit it is being – being not in Christianity but
being in God, being the life of Jesus and being a life-giving Spirit in the manner of Jesus. It is being a son. More to the point, being who you were born to be and living to your design.

In normal christianity with a small ‘c’ we can be a person who ‘does these things.’ Our identity comes from what we do and what we attach ourselves too. In this sense we are ‘workers.’ In the Spirit our identity is who we are: A son. A daughter of God.

When we live in God by the Spirit of Jesus anything we do becomes an extension of God and an extension of ourselves. In the Spirit a preacher is the message because in Christ, the message inhabits his/her being and becomes her. A worship leader singing in the Spirit of Christ is never separate from the song. The song does not stand near him as distinct entity. He is the song. The song has taken hold of him/her in the Spirit and the words and music become alive with God.

“The difference between the old and new covenant is not only separation from God. It is separation from oneself.”

This is the truth
. Should we live in law we are always separate from what we do. But alive in God we are one in the Spirit with Him and His creation.

‘On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.’ John 14.20.

Anyone who lives from the law, lives from something less than themselves. Life, righteousness, love and light, together with freedom cannot be defined in words and lists. It is exemplified in people. It is persons. It is the trinity in you. It is Jesus as you. This is why Adam’s experiment in the knowledge of good and evil had to end in death and why Father gave the laws of Moses knowing they would fail to produce life. He did this so we would see that when He sent His Son, we would see in person, the righteousness of God, the light of the world and the living expression of love.

You can be His sons and daughters by embracing Him as your life.

Just as Jesus by creative power imparts life to all He touches, so those who live in Him do the same. Jesus rose from the grave and imparts life to the dead. So do those who are born again to live in the Spirit. In Jesus they raise dead people to life and in Jesus they impart life to dead things: By being themselves. By being sons and daughters of God alive in the Spirit of Life.

‘But the person who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with him’ 1 Cor 6.17 NLT.
