Jesus turned the water into wine. Why did it taste so good? Why was it the essence of what a good wine should be? It was magnificent because at the hand of the creator and logos – the personified meaning and purpose of all that exists - this wine appeared in its true glory to shine as itself.
Wine at Jesus hand had in effect been born again and presented itself as one of the first examples of the new creation. So when Jesus said, ‘unless you eat my flesh and drink my blood, you have no life in you’ He was speaking of you and all that exists coming into its true essence and glory as a result of His death, resurrection and indwelling of you, George and Letitia and who received Him - not a new religion - but as their life.
