WHAT YOU BELIEVE
The church is Jesus expressed as His people. That's what it's means to be incarnated. You are in Jesus when you are in bed and He is in you wherever you are. He does not live in religious places. He lives in you. Living from religion we can attempt to be Christ like. As Kingdom people in our new covenant glory we express the being of God. Law-centered gospels are always reductionist. ‘Being centered gospels – arising from our rootedness in the trinity are expansionist. They join us to the infinite life of the Holy Family.
If we love people we will not minister lesser gospels and smaller christs on the grounds that this is our perspective. Humans are crippled and reduced to the extent that any detail of their faith is a lie or misinformation. It’s not ok to be a mini-bus full of disabled people and say this is good because we are living in ‘our perspective.’
To live in Jesus is to walk in the light and to have His body and his being. In Him we share the being of God and God shares ours. Jesus Christ is a human being and the third person of the trinity. He by the Spirit imparts the divine nature to our being. You can do better than grasp at pieces of law or make attempts to be ‘Christ like.’ You share the being of God and are the expression of the trinity and are sons – if you believe.
We become what we believe, hence our need to believe the truth.
‘On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you’ John 14,20. This state of being is already a fact. But it is our state of being in spirit and in truth when we believe it.
With Jesus as our life we are privy to the constant revelation of Himself and His ways. To give the Lord our hearts, to take life in nothing other than His person is to live in the being of our everlasting Father.
'When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life' John 8.12 NIV.
The light of life is not found in propositions or assorted scriptures. It’s found as we participate in our new covenant union with God. Life and light are never ours in the knowledge of good and evil . Spirit and light are ours when we live from where He has placed us – in Himself.
Assertions and so called Biblical views disconnected from new covenant union and the interweaving of the self with God’s being are at best misguided and at worst nonsense. We have been reborn to live in the truth of our sonship with God.
Paul wrote, 'I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy. I promised you to one husband, to Christ, so that I might present you as a pure virgin to him' 2 Cor 11.2 NIV.
As the bride of Christ we are one in spirit and body with Him. As in a good marriage our being and Christ’s being are one. By the Spirit we become one flesh. This is the real sense of the body of Christ – union with His being. The fruit of this union is the multiplication of Kingdom people – of sons of God instead of tares.
