Christ Your life

His Kingdom multiplied through you

‘The Kingdom
is not us doing things for Christ. It is Christ in us
doing His things.’

Two seeds were planted in the soil. One grew into a son of God. The other grew into a tare. The sons of God are led by the Spirit of God because they live in the Spirit of God. In Father they live, move and have their being. As sons they are the expression of their Father just as your sons are a version of you. But there are other sons – sons that have been distracted and in some cases betrayed. They are the plantings of the Evil One – the products of distortion and mutation.

‘But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away’ Mat 13.25 NIV.

The first Adam was a living being. The last Adam is a living being and the life-giving Spirit. It is through the second Adam who is personally our life, that the life of God, His spirit and life flows into us to manifest as George, Mabel or Tracy.

It is because Jesus is with us and in us that the life of heaven is multiplied on earth. Jesus is fully God and retains His human nature. He is present in the temple of God with Father and Spirit and present in all who receive Him. In Him we are present in the heavenly courts and heaven is present in us. You are not just normal human beings reading the Bible and trying to copy what you read by acts of will and crafted discipline. You are the living expression of the triune God whose home is you!

Any idea that the Kingdom of God is a programme of activities and good deeds misses the essence of the Kingdom.

Some Believers go from church to church looking for people to join them in their Christian workaholism and performance syndrome. But they consistently remain without spirit and life. In this vein some serious but misguided soul advocated a list of ‘should do' good and charitable works – as though this was Jesus’ message. But Jesus did not teach the revival of an old program or introduce a new programme of deeds modelled on His example. He presented Himself as our life. Big difference between incarnation and a performance regime of dead works and dead fruit. Engaged in this kind of Trumpism we know neither the scriptures or the life of God and we are a drought of spirit and life.

‘The Kingdom is not us doing things for Christ. It is Christ in us doing His things.’ This is the difference between His gospel of the Kingdom and lesser gospels or tares.

In Jesus we are branches of Father’s tree. In Jesus we are rooted in Father and manifest His fruit. In Jesus the life of Father, Son and Spirit is expressed as us. As such we can flourish as sons. But let’s be clear. We can no more flourish rooted in the law or a Christian performance syndrome than a sun-flower can grow out of concrete.

In a spiritual manner of speaking you have come from Jesus side, as Eve did from Adam. Thus before the fall Father had made a parable of the church. As the Bride of Christ you are bone of His bone and flesh of His flesh. You are a living person, a spiritual Eve who completes the Last Adam individually and as the church. It takes all of us to be the Wife of Christ because each of us are a facet of His fullness. Thus the church as a whole is the expression of Jesus when we each are fulfilled in the new covenant fullness of a personal Jesus in a personal us.

There is nothing generic in Christ our life, no dumbing down to a conformist common denominator. The church is mighty when individuals are mighty by being who they really are in Jesus. Reality is Christ and you are the most real expression of yourself when hidden in Christ. Here you are a river of spirit and life.

The communion of each member of the trinity with each other was the kind of communion with God that was designed for Adam and Eve. It is again today. The trinity lives in you. God imparts His nature to you. In Jesus we are made one with God, with our-selves and with each other. In Him and because He is in us we impart life simply by being ourselves.

‘The field is the world, and the good seed stands for the people of the kingdom. The weeds are the people of the evil one’ Matt 13.38 NIV.
