YOU HAVE A STATUS IN GOD THAT IS SECURE
Grace is not a means of ‘keeping the law.’ Grace is Christ our life. Grace is our having been drawn into the communion of life and joy that is the triune God. Grace is the life of Jesus manifesting as us. Grace is the incarnation realised in the church. Grace is separation undone and grace us union with God in everyday life.
ONENESS IN ONENESS
For the past five years I have devoted myself to the clarification and revelation of the achievement of God in Jesus Christ. As the church we need to base our life on the authentic gospel rather than just ‘another gospel’ or a ‘received gospel’ or a ‘gospel of half-truths and veils.’ We can be included in this Gospel as it is rather than it has been taught to us or has been subverted to appear.
Why live robbed when you can live in your inheritance?
YOU ARE INCLUDED
We are already included existentially. But many are not included in their minds because they live in separation and see their Christianity as the means of becoming one with God. YOU ARE ALREADY ONE. Faith is living from where you have been positioned by God – in Himself.
A TRIBE OF WITCHES
C. S. Lewis makes the observation in The Silver Chair that there is a new witch for every age. This means that there is some new lie that is a variation on the deceit of the fall for every person, every season and every community of faith.
ALIVE NOT INERT
If it is our resolve to follow Jesus everywhere he leads and are not satisfied with living on a religious treadmill of made of veils that need to be taken away. If are not satisfied with pumping up the religion of our fathers but have a passion for life itself we will see life because we will be drawn into life by the Light that is Christ.
CORE AND PERISPHERY
There are many things that range from core of our life in God to things that are of no relevance at all. ‘This Gospel of the Kingdom’ is of ultimate importance because it is the tree from which all else grows. ‘Of the Kingdom’ implies that there are feeble gospels, bent gospel and gospels of the prince of this world that have no life and which are actually channels of death.
TREE OF LIFE
The Tree of Jesus, the apostles and the creeds bear fruit in the new creation Kingdom of God. A bent tree results in a bent christianity, a crippled you and a warped kingdom of God.
DRAWN INTO GOD
Thomas Torrance quoting Irenaeus observes that “What God is toward us in his immense love and infinite kindness, what he is in his all revealing and saving acts in the Gospel, he is inherently and always was in himself.
“The.. formulations which we find emerging in Irenaeus’ theological interpretation of the truth of the Gospel. What God is toward us in his immense love and infinite kindness, what he is in his all revealing and saving acts in the Gospel, he is inherently and always was in himself.
“The incipient credal formulations which we find emerging in Irenaeus’ theological interpretation of the truth of the Gospel and his elucidation of the order implicit in the fundamental deposit of the Faith, already manifest the essential trinitarian features of the Church’s understanding of God’s self-revelation.. eventually came to formal expression in the Nicene Creed.” (1)
It'd clear that in any proper theology the grace and nature of God is revealed in Jesus Christ and the trinity and not in the abstraction of the law and it’s culture of religion and legalism.
The knowing of God in Himself and the belonging of each trinitarian person in the One is the very embrace that draws us into communion with this Communion through the atonement of the cross, the resulting incarnation of ourselves and the ministry of Holy Spirit.
We have oneness in Christ that means oneness with the fullness of God, oneness with self and each other and oneness with the creation, giving meaning to ‘And this is the plan: At the right time he will bring everything together under the authority of Christ—everything in heaven and on earth’ Eph 1.10 NLT.
